Auto Restoration

When you’re working to restore or repair a car that first rolled off the assembly line in early twentieth century, parts are obviously not easy to come by. One of our clients brought us this unique challenge in the form of a 1926 Model T Sedan — a luxury car of its time. But its 1.5” tires made long road trips to car shows bumpy and miserable. And so our customer wanted to see if we could make wheels that would support comfier 2.5” tires. That we did — by recreating a wheel that looked exactly like it came out of the Ford factory but didn’t readily reveal the slight cheat.
